Define options and a deadline. Vote to reach consensus.

What it is

A poll is a three-way choice with a deadline. The option set stays at A, B, and C. Another question is a new poll. Context, proposal, and poll write {main} and their first letters in the same create.

Fields

How a vote lands is Cast. Starting another poll is New topic with this type. The ranked options are Topic.

Creation

• Form: Step-by-step wizard. Tags → Title → Subtitle → Body → INDEX (exactly 3 branches) → Context Links → Expiration (required).
• JSON: Paste a complete payload with topic_type: "poll", exactly 3 branches, and expires_at.
• Branches after publish: Closed. No new branches on a poll. Starting another poll creates a new topic.
• Voting: Exclusive +1 on options. One vote per user. Switching option moves the vote.
